We were very lucky with the weather this year for our annual duck race.  Visitors were arriving in streams :-) There were two races on the day, firstly the childrens own bath toy race in which the children had lots of fun following their toys down the Ritec and prizes were given to the lucky winners.  Then there was the DUCK RACE.  350 ducks were set off from the ford.  The prizes were 1. £25  2. £15  3. £10 and £5 for the last  finisher.  Before the race there was an egg hunt with over 90 eggs hidden close the start and all free of charge.  Approximately £650 was raised on the day for the Community Council to use at their discretion.
